Advice to My Brides

To My Brides,

Being a recently married woman myself, I can relate to many of my brides. Getting married is such a joyous time in your life but also the most stressful.  Here at Devine Beauty we are here to relieve some of that stress.

On your wedding day, most women are so stressed out and trying to make sure they have everything in order and hoping that they run on schedule.  Well, that’s what we’re here for!  Instead of you having to worry about being on time to your hair or makeup appointment, we come to you!  So don’t stress about making sure you wake up an extra hour early to make your 8:00 AM beauty appointment.  Sleep in!  Let us do the traveling for you!

Things to bring to your Trial

On your trial day, please bring any accessories that you would like to have with you so you can get more of an idea what you will look like on your Wedding Day!

For example, veils, tiaras, flowers, jewelry.  Also, I always suggest to my brides to wear a white shirt so you can get a vision of your full look.  If you have any pictures of your hair and makeup looks that you would like to try at the trial, please email them to me ahead of time or bring them with you.

Things to do to Prepare for the Big Day!

Think about how you want to look on your wedding day.  In vision everything you want it to be and how you want to look.  My advice to you is to just be yourself and don't spend crazy money on simple things.

* If you want your teeth to be white, don't pay the outrageous cost of getting them professional whitened at a dentist.  I used crest whitening stripes and they worked out great!

* Definitely get on a skincare program or regimen.  I personally love our Royalty skincare line.  I have been using this skincare line for years.  It's an affordable skincare line that will give you great results.   Also, drink lots of water. This will help you get that “glowing” skin everyone talks about. If you’d like to purchase these products you can do so by going to my website at

*If you are finding that you are breaking out more often from the stress of wedding planning and you can afford it, try get a facials the last 3 months before the wedding. Don’t go any sooner than 3-4 weeks before the wedding.

*The week of the wedding try to relax as much as you can. If you are tanning stop at least 3-4 days before the wedding day to avoid redness. Drink lots of water and just stay calm. Try to enjoy these last few days as much as possible. Write out a list of things that need to be done and delegate them to family or friends that you trust.

*On your wedding day, you shouldn’t do anything but be pampered! Don’t stress and make sure you take it all in and enjoy every second of it because it will all be gone in just a day! My most important piece of advice on your big day, is to make sure you and your husband take at least 5 minutes out of your busy day to be alone and to soak it all in. On my wedding day it all happened so fast but I made sure to pull my husband aside and take those few minutes. And I must say that is one of my favorite memories just sitting with him and soaking it all in that this is our wedding day and we are husband and wife!   Then we were pulled in to cut the cake J

Congratulations and I hope to hear from you!
